Review: Altar of Lies
Altar of Lies by Jenika SnowMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
Okay, I need to talk about this book because WOW.
Grayson. GRAYSON. I am not okay. He completely stole my heart and I loved every single second in his POV. The dual POV in this book was chef's kiss. It was executed so well and really deepened the story in a way that had me completely invested.
The pacing was perfect. Jenika Snow kept me hooked from page one and I genuinely could not put this down. The plot twists and OMG moments? I did not see them coming. At all. I was screaming.
There was one chapter that pulled me out of the story a little because of the POV shift, but I don't want to say more to avoid spoilers. Just know it was a minor thing in an otherwise incredible read.
If you love dark romance, cult books and all the angst, this one is absolutely for you. Come prepared for dark themes, sacrifice and a story that will consume you.
Highly, highly recommend. Jenika Snow delivered.
